The first wedding of 2002, January 6, 2002

Thursday night in Furcadia was a joyous night indeed for two young furres who were deeply in love. Hoku and Tangalor Firepaw became Mr. and Mrs. Firepaw after a short but sweet wedding ceremony in a dream that they had made up. Like most all weddings it was a stressful before, an emotions and a happily ever after. 5 minutes before the wedding was supposed to happen Hoku and Tangalor were without a priest. Luckily they found one at the last most possible priest in that of Durst, who performed a beautiful service. The two much in love furres exchanged their own vows. This was the wedding logfile as follows:

Durst: Before we begin, im having dayja vo... I would like to warmly welcome you all to The wedding of Tangalor Firepaw and Hokumisha.
Durst: My name is Durst, priest of Kairusha, I will be officiating the ceremony.
Durst: Dearly beloved, we are gathered together to witness in the bonding of these two furres. Remember this mating is a shared relationship, not a matter of possession. It is a means of showing your commitment to one another.
Durst looks to Tangalor and grins a bit, "Tangalor, Please reply with "I do" to the following."
Durst: Do you Tangalor take thee Hoku to be your mate; to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse; for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish, forsaking all others; for as long as you both shall live?
Tangalor FirePaw: I do
Durst nods and looks to Hoku, " Hoku, please reply with "I do" to the following."
Durst: Do you Hoku take thee Tangalor to be your mate; to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse; for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish; forsaking all others; for as long as you both shall live?
Hoku nods with a bright smile. "I do."
Durst smiles back then smiles to Tangalor, "Tangalor do you have a ring, or some other token of your affection?"
Tangalor FirePaw: Yes
Durst: and the token would be?
Tangalor FirePaw: A ring ;-)
Durst: :-D
Durst: Please repeat after me as you place the ring on Hoku's paw.
Tangalor FirePaw gets a ring from off of his tail
Durst: I give you this ring, in token and pledge, of our love, friendship, and devotion.
Tangalor FirePaw: I give you this ring, in token and pledge, of our love, friendship, and everlasting devotion.
Hoku smiles and holds out her left paw.
Tangalor FirePaw slides it on her delicately, kissing her paw afterwards
Durst nods to Tangalor then looks to Hoku, "Hoku do you have a ring, or some other token of your affection?"
Hoku blushes a slight shade of pink, her paw shakily reaching for her pocket.
Hoku: Yes, I have a ring.
Durst nods, "Please repeat after me as you place the ring on Tangalors's paw."
Durst: I give you this ring, in token and pledge, of our love, friendship, and devotion.
Hoku fumbles with the ring, polishing it against her chest.
Hoku smiles as she startes lovingly into Tangalors eyes. Slipping the sapphire ring onto his left paw, she leans to kiss his cheek.
Hoku: I give you this ring, in token and pledge, of our love, friendship, and devotion.
Durst: Tangalor, do you have any special words of your own you would like to add? Or, you may wait until a more private time... yet everything in the book has been scorn free into the church... hehe
Tangalor FirePaw: Yes I do..
Durst: Please proceed
Tangalor FirePaw bows his head, and looks up to Hoku with loving affection. "I love you with all of my heart, Hoku, and will do anything for you.. I strive to be my best becuase I have you.. You complete me and make me whole. All the words in the world wouldnt be enough to express my deepest love for you, and I will keep that true for as long asd I live."
Hoku bites at her lower lip, smiling nervously.
Durst: Hoku, do you have any special words of your own you would like to add? Or, you may wait until a more private time... and no vibrators...
Hoku: I do, yes Durst.
Durst nods, "proceed"
Hoku: Tangalor, the love I feel for you is unlike anything I have ever felt before. I know we will have our ups and downs, but with you, and the love we share, anything is possible. You complete me, you have made me a new furson, and for you and your grace, I am forever greatful, and will love you always.
Hoku smiles and leans to gently kiss Tangalor's cheek.
Tangalor FirePaw mrrs and gets misty with joy.
Durst: Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other."
Hoku holds Tangalors paw in hers.
Tangalor FirePaw clenches Hoku's paw tightly
Hoku mouths the words, I love you as she looks into Tangalor's eyes.
Durst tosses bird seed onto the sleeping furrs, "Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you. May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years.. May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon this land."
Tangalor FirePaw kisses Hoku's paw sweetly
Durst grins to Hoku and Tangalar, Tangalor, Hokumisha, you may kiss each other to seal the vows you have each made."
Hoku: Are we having fun yet? :-)
Hoku smiles with a happy sigh, her lips reaching for Tanaglors, she kisses softly.
Hoku: wee!
Durst smiles at the two as they kiss, "By the powers vested in me, by the Primes of Kairusha, I now pronounce you heart bound, soul bound, spiritually bound." Durst then tosses a bible at everyone that was oocly rude too.

Durst: That was my first... and more Hilarious wedding ever...

Quickly after the kiss the crowd rushed the newly married couple to congratulate them. The after party was held in the same dream. Guests were encouraged to explore the dream while the Firepaw's went into the dinning hall to have their wedding cake. The party continued well into the night when I stopped by a few hours later the party had moved into the indoor swimming pool. So from the FURRE to Hoku and Tangalor CONGRADS!! may your love blossom and continue to grow.
